I don't have kids, my husband does a fair share of the house work, and I STILL feel this. If I do ask him to do a specific task at a specific time, his response is "can you send me a reminder?" Sure, honey - now I have to put a task in MY Outlook calendar to remind myself to send you an email to remind you to do the thing that you wanted me to ask you to do so I wouldn't be mad about the mental load. Um.....???
