Oh Beth! I hear you! I've NEVER liked my husband getting up on the roof to clean the gutters and blow the leaves off. We have three stories now, and he will turn 60 in January so believe me, I like it even less these days. We've compromised, and we pay for someone to clean the gutters every December, because there are simply some areas he cannot reach, even with his tallest ladder (and this way, I don't have to listen to him complain about those spots all winter!). But inevitably, sometime in February, he'll decide that there are leaves in the gutters again, and he'll crawl out the window with that damn leaf blower. I can't stop him, but at least I've convinced him to do that task on a day I'm working from home, so he won't be here alone if he DOES (god forbid) fall.

Life’s a journey. Sometimes a peaceful hike in the woods, sometimes a screaming joyride down a dark highway. I’m on a quest to discover my truth by sharing it.
