Seriously! I am the primary breadwinner in my family. I can't just walk away from that to be a full-time writer, no matter how much I might want to. Writing is my respite from the corporate world. It's a little extra money. Maybe I'm paving the way for a scenario when I can write full time. Or, at very least, at 50, I'm setting myself up for a great little side gig when I'm finally ready to retire.
