Thanks for this, Bebe! I've been feeling pretty uninspired in terms of local stories lately, and needed a bit of a nudge. Incidentally, on my neighborhood site, people are always talking about wildlife and car break-ins too! (At least it's not carjackings these days like it was the first Christmas we spent here.)
