I won’t lie — it’s still scary because my eating disorder still makes me feel this desperation to lose weight NOW, but I know I’m ultimately healthier and happier when I’m not dieting and obsessing. Plus, I feel like I’m giving my metabolism a chance to heal a bit. I haven’t been on a scale since November, but I’m pretty sure I’ve dropped a few pounds just based on how my clothes fit. It’s not the drastic weight loss I’d like to see, but I’m hoping a slow, steady loss will be easier to maintain anyway.
