Thanks Terry! I actually had forgotten that the Gores had divorced until I was doing research for this story. Most of what I read indicated it wasn't a single thing, but more of a gradual growing apart (subtle cracks in their marriage, as one article put it) and that actually makes me rather sad. Maybe they were too busy in their public lives to put in the hard, good work a marriage requires?
